"NEVER GIVE UP"

In Loving Memory of Douglas Jablonski

This page is dedicated to Douglas Jablonskia a friend of mine.  Doug and I shared many a story over the internet and on the phone about both of our battles with cancer.  Doug had been a friend of mine from many years ago when he was Sergeant First Class with the New Jersey State Police. Fate brought us back together in an unfortunate way and our friendship rekindled when he was diagnosed with Sarcoma.  Doug had contacted me and had inquired about how I was doing and informed that he to had some form of cancer.  Doug and I supported each other throughout our battle.  Doug was finally diagnosed after several months with a rare type of sarcoma.  He underwent surgeries, tests and mutiple courses of chemo therapy.  All the while even when he was in excruciating pain he always took the time to check in on me and tell me to "Never Ever Give Up".  Doug was nothing short of a warrior and a hero in not only the way that he fought cancer but in the way that he lived.  Doug sadly left this earth on  December 3, 2005.  His memory shall live on in all that who new him whether it was Doug the State Trooper or Doug the Gentle Giant of a guy he was.  He was a cops-cop and a mans-man.  He was both devoted to his family and his friends.  Doug may you rest in peace you will not be forgotten.  My prayers are with you and your family as they have been.  Watch over us all now and protect us as our Guardian Angel.  Heaven is lucky to have you have you and I am honored to have known you.

Rest in Peace My Friend
